Readings from two exciting new books. Joanna Cockerline's Still is a novel about Kayla, who lives and works on the streets of Kelowna, and of Little Zoe, a woman working in the sex trade who is missing.
Kevin Andrew Heslop's non-fiction book is The Writing on the Wind's Wall: Dialogues about 'Medical Assistance in Dying' . The author brings us the voices of those affected by MAID: 'Medical Assistance in Dying' in the city of London, Ontario: a death doula, a sound-healer, a psychiatrist, a scholar, a doctor, a medium, an ethicist, a prospective recipient, a politician, a reverend, and several recipients' survivors. This event is free of charge and open to the public.
