To launch Moonlight Jazz Society’s third 2025/2026 season we will celebrate the release house drummer and artistic director Neil Gray’s new album release In the Streets.
The party lands at none other than the Vibrant Vine’s cozy underground lounge November 7th 2025 with guest house artists Stu Goldberg on piano, Stefan Bienz on bass, and guest vocalist Leila Naderi.
Neil Gray is pleased to present his newest record In the Streets released on the Cellar Live label October 31st of this year. The songs of his new album represent many people, places, and times in the Vancouver jazz scene that Neil experienced during his growth as a musician.
A decade plus time of living in Vancouver and he has had the pleasure of playing with artists such as Bruno Hubert, Cory Weeds, Campbell Ryga, Jon Bentley, Jimmy James Fraser, and a variety of characters out of the legendary Vancouver Jazz Haus.
Moonlight Jazz Society (MJS) is a non-profit in its third year. MJS is focused on facilitating connection between primarily composers and arrangers, venues, and audiences to foster synergy in the local and provincial jazz community.
