Please join Jess from Flux Glass Co for this fun intro to stained glass the Kelowna Downtown Library in support of NITEO.
NITEO exists to support children to develop the literacy skills needed to build bright & hopeful futures. NITEO supports community and school libraries in Uganda and also has a local family reading program for newcomer families in Kelowna. A portion of each ticket sold will go to supporting NITEO to continue their bright & hopeful work!
Using glass pieces, precut and ground by Jess, make your choice of feather, star, bluebird, chickadee, green leaf, sun rays, mountains, sunflower or bee.
This workshop is located in Small Meeting Room 2 at the Kelowna Downtown Library, 1380 Ellis Street.
After your purchase your ticket please email fluxglassco@gmail.com with your choice of design.
Learn how to foil, solder, patina and polish in the traditional Tiffany method of stained glass to create your own sun catcher. You will go home with a beautiful stained glass piece to brighten any window or wall.
No prior experience needed, all materials included. Ages 14 and up.
