Negotiation is crucial to business success and an important life skill that can be used daily. Do you know the five negotiation styles and how personality can affect these negotiation styles? Kelowna Women in Business and Stacey Fenwick are excited to present a negotiation workshop for the first of our fireside chat series.

In this workshop, you will learn your natural and habitual negotiation style and how to create an effective negotiation style for the circumstance. In business dealings, effective negotiation is win-win. We will discuss the skills you can develop to become an effective negotiator claiming value for yourself and others.


More about Stacey:

Stacey's vision is to continue on a path of lifelong learning while making a positive social impact in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. She completed a Master of Business Administration in strategic management at the University of British Columbia. She has been a professor at the Okanagan School of Business at Okanagan College since 2013, where she teaches management, marketing and entrepreneurship. The Fall of 2019 had her starting a new journey pursuing her Doctorate in Business Administration, where her research interest is in social enterprise strategy.

Stacey is currently in the process of completing her dissertation proposal. Her experience before teaching was in land development, where she completed business plans, negotiated financing and construction draws and marketed commercial and residential real estate projects in Kelowna. This experience honed her negotiation skills and gave her solid finance, marketing, and sales knowledge.
