Join Inspired Word Cafe for our Open Mic of the 2020/21 season!
Things are looking different over here at the Open Mic. We will be inviting only the poets who sign up to join us in the Alternator Centre for Contemporary Arts starting at 6:45pm. The event will be live streamed through Zoom to our audience at home!
Each performer will have 5-7 minutes to share! (if you go over, we will hook you off stage - J/K, but also, don't go over)
Original work only! (this is being recorded and put online, and therefore you have to have the rights to what you are sharing)
First come, first signed up to perform!
If you sign up and later decide you cannot join, please let us know ASAP, as we will have a waitlist. IF TIME ALLOWS, WE WILL PULL FROM THE WAITLIST THROUGH ZOOM, SO BE READY.
We will create a waitlist for each event. Those on the waitlist for this event will be given priority for taking the first spots at the next open mic (we will confirm with you before the upcoming event).
To sign up:
1) email erin@inspiredwordcafe.com or message us through Facebook with your name, what you will be sharing (poetry, stories, song), and whether will you be joining us in person at the Alternator or virtually over zoom.
2) we will confirm your spot (each performer will have a set time to present at), how long you will have, and protocol for the event.
3) share with your friends, family, coworkers, and more!
