GoByBike Weeks encourages people to ride their bikes anywhere they need to go, as a form of everyday transportation. We are building passion for active transportation, and encouraging people to try it in a supportive and fun environment, with a chance to win prizes! Register free and log your trips at www.gobybikebc.ca. The provincial grand prize is a trip for 2 cycling the Baltics! This event also focuses on sharing tips on safety and gear that will help get you through the fall season and into biking year-round.
In the Central Okanagan, there will be a kick-off event on October 21st and wrap-up event on November 3rd, with fun "bike-to" events, hosted by community businesses and sponsors throughout the two-week period, where participants can get special offers at different locations, when they choose to "GoByBike".
