There's something for everyone at Big White - including this fun race, just for kids!
With only 4 children per heat and a medal for every participant, this is a great way for the little ones to get involved in yet another exciting bike weekend at Big White.
Registration opens at the Concierge Desk at 9am with the race kicking off in the Village at 10am. The race begins near the Kids Centre with various course set-ups based on each age category - including a turn through our inflatable obstacle course!
There are 3 categories available for kids aged 2-12:
- Strider/Run bikes – i.e. bikes with no pedals.
- Training wheel bikes – i.e. bikes that have the traditional training wheels attached to the back hub.
- Two wheeled bike - i.e. regular bikes, just must have functioning brakes.
Age categories are as follows:
U5 – any child under the age of 5 on race day (two laps of course)
U9 – any child under the age of 9 on race day (three laps of course)
U13 – any child under the age of 13 on race day (four laps of course)
