Tired of a summer of smoke? Didn’t get enough time outside this summer? Inspired Word Cafe/Kelowna Poetry Slam presents the Kickoff Classic Poetry Slam in Stuart Park. IWC and KPS welcome back students and summer travellers alike as they launch of season 9 of programming!

That’s as long as Seinfeld, but with less white, hetero-male centrism! 8 poets who will go two rounds in another epic slam event under the stars. Come take back one more night of summer with us. Who will win this round of wordsmith supremacy?
