They immediately captivate and enrapture, and suddenly it feels as though the song has been around for a lifetime, new and old memories instantly associated with the melodies and hooks. From the very beginning, MDM Recordings Inc/Universal Music Canada country duo The Lovelocks (comprised of Ali Raney and Zoë Sparrow) have written and recorded tracks that do just that. Their latest single, the fun-loving “Staycation”, melds the duo’s soaring vocals and striking harmonies, celebrating the adage that life is what you make of it, whether sprawled out on a beach or cozied up in your bedroom with the one you love.
