The Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies is excited to host a reading event where the winners of the 20th annual Okanagan Short Story Contest will be announced!

Contest judge and former contest winner, Karen Hofmann, will be in attendance at this event to announce the first, second and third place winners of the adult category, along with the winner of the new high school category! Winners will also read short excerpts from their stories, sure to entertain all attendees!

This event is free and open to the public.

The Okanagan Short Story Contest is organized by UBC Okanagan’s Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies and co-sponsored by the Kelowna Capital News, the Central Okanagan Foundation, the Amber Webb-Bowerman Memorial Foundation, and subTerrain magazine.
