Lance is famous for Fusing a new style which has become known as “Flamenco Funk”. Fusing modern beats and grooves (played on guitar like a drum!) with Traditional Spanish Flamenco Guitar playing. If you appreciate music, especially Spanish guitar, this is one performer you don’t want to miss!

“Lance “Oscar” Carr a.k.a. ‘Oscar’, ‘El Gitano’, or ‘Gitano Lanza’ nicknamed by his Spanish Gypsy Godmother “Juanita Rivera” of Seville, Spain, has studied and played Guitar since he was a small child. Winning best guitarist in battle of the bands 1999 and just this year His Flamenco guitar playing and abilities enabled him to win the CFG Malaga, Spain International Grant for a 1945-Marcelo Barbero Spanish Flamenco Guitar, and lessons with Professor Ruben Diaz of Malaga, Spain, a pupil of the Legendary guitarist Paco de Lucia. Lanza has released his Debut Flamenco Album “El Gitano”
